Dear readers,
The holiday season is fast approaching, and the year is coming to an end. As we say goodbye to 2023, we do so with gratitude for our dedicated people and our strong and valuable partners.
Thanks to all of you! We leave 2023 with pride in our common achievements and big hopes for 2024.
New CSR partnership
We also have big hopes for our new CSR partnership with Mejerifolk uden Grænser / Dairy without Borders at the little Kiteto Dairy Cooperative (KDC) in Tanzania.
The project was launched at the beginning of this summer and will benefit the dairy cooperative in terms of training and financial support to improve the healthiness of the cattle, growing feed and other necessities towards a healthy and clean supply of milk.
Up till now there has been two project journeys to the Dairy Cooperative and a project group has been initiated. KDC has had a visit from a larger group of Masai people for an introduction to how a cooperative works. They have received the first training in the healthiness of the cattle and the importance of growing feed and providing clean water for the cows. The work with climate resistant crops has also been initiated.
At the beginning of the new year the next journeys to KDC will be planned and here focus will be on i.e. following up on improvements of their mozzarella production and optimization of yoghurt products.
